Happily Ever After: Prologue

Flower petals momentarily swirled around the girl that suddenly appeared out of  nowhere, her white feline licking her paw.

The girl’s blue eyes seemed to widen when she looked around at her surroundings “UFU~! Primula~! Earth is so different from the books, huh?”

The trees had shades of red, orange and yellow. The leaves falling down gingerly, the birds chirping and flying around the park they were currently in.

The birds that interested her the most were the mocking jays that flew around. She whistled a tune that they copied easily, amusing the girl.

“You stupid idiot! We are not here for sight-seeing!” The cat snapped “We are here to get your wings and fast!”

The girl looked down in shame “Sorry...”

The brown cat just shook her head making the girl clutch the jar tighter.

The girl then sat on a swing and put the empty little jar on the floor.

“Fratello! Look it’s a Bella Signora!” a unfamiliar voice chirped “She looks lost, ve~! We should-a help!”

“Oi! You come back here!” Another voice, almost familiar to the first, yelled.

That’s when the girl looked up seeing a pair of twins, almost identical to each other

“Ve~! Bella Signora~! I’m-a Veneziano and this is-a Mio Fratello Romano~!” He held out his hand.

Veneziano seemed cheery and energetic, his eyes the same shade of brown as his hair. He wore a black vest over a white long sleeve button up shirt with a collar, a red tie around his neck and a waist apron tied around his waist(DUH!). His dress pants were black, matching his outfit, and were tucked into high combat boots.

Romano seemed less cheery and more grumpy, his white button up long sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He wore the same tie and vest, though, as well as the same pants and boots. He didn’t wear a waist apron though and his eyes were a green shade

The girl nodded “I’m Isabella de la Cruz!”
