The next day, Isabella felt a bit better! She didn't even bump into the Italian! Today was going to be a good day, she was sure of it!
"Belle! Give me back my book!" A certain British gentleman shouted from her left, immediately passing her and going straight.
'Did he really fall for that?' Isabella thought as she stared at the back of said boy from the corner.
Clutching the book closer to her chest, she had wondered why the hell he wanted to keep it from her so much. It was just a book, right?
But, what kind of book was what the girl was wondering about!
She was about to pull the book away from her and open it when it was suddenly snatched away from her "Hey!"
Abruptly turning, her eyes met mischievous green ones. He caught her.
"I am the country Sherlock Holmes originated from! Did you really think you could get away with it, love?" Arthur teased, waving the book in front of the girl's face.
"Give it back!" Isabella lunged but failed as the book was torn away from her grasp yet again "Kuya Britain!"
"Uh-uh!" The boy waggled a finger "Remember what I told you, love!"
He then took the book and stuffed it in the bag at his side "You're not supposed to see what's in it!"
Pouting, the Philippine nation huffed "Can I at least have a clue on what's in there?"
The British boy shook his head "No!"
"You're an awful tease today, aren't you? Kuya Britain?" The girl crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow
The blushes that the British nation tried to withheld suddenly appeared, immediately lighting up his face "Uh-! It's just that-!"
This had made the girl giggle "Never let your guard down, Kuya!"
This had Arthur completely silenced, his eyes widening.
There was Isabella, in all of her pickpocketing glory. She had one hand on her waist and the other holding the book that was being snatched back and forth.
Before Arthur could say anything, Isabella immediately dashed.
It left the poor nation dazed, with his hand out as if to grab her. The hand then flopped down to his side and he sighed "You're such a handful, love..."
He then dashed after the girl, yelling her name over and over.
"They're such a cute couple!" Was all Italy, one of the spectators, could say.
Japan seemed to agree, as he nodded while scrolling through the pictures he had gotten. Germany just sighed, his hand on his forehead.
Romano, however, stood there. His jealousy was showing through his angry and red face. His arms were crossed and his glare could've burned a hole right through England's head, which would've made Romano very happy "I don't think so!"
